Till Brenner, one of the most talented trumpeters in European jazz, and Bob James, a contemporary jazz fusion legend known for his four-play, have collaborated to bring you this gorgeous collaboration of two great artists. Till Brenner, who hails from Germany, has been active since the 1990s and has made a name for himself around the world through his collaborations with Herbie Hancock, Tony Bennett, and others. These two virtuosos, who have been leading the scene for many years, play a wide range of music from standards to originals. The two longtime scene leaders play a wide range of music, from standards to originals, with melodies that are rich in emotion and melancholy played at a leisurely pace, making this a superb album for adults to listen to on a "holiday for the soul. Till's velvet voice can be heard on "Lemonade" and "I Get It From You". The first single from the album, "September Morn," a cover of US legend Neil Diamond's 1979 hit "Lemonade," was released in September and features Harvey Mason of "Head Hunters" fame on drums. The song selection is also excellent.
