Daniel Tassian was born in Connecticut, USA. He was signed to Elektra when he was only 19 years old. He released the album Sweetie (1996) with T. Bone Burnett as producer. He became a driving force in the Nashville music scene with his bands, the Silver Seeds and Skyline Motel. In recent years, he has also worked as a songwriter and producer. He won a Grammy Award for \"The Golden Hour\" for Kacey Musgraves, which he produced. For this album, Bacharach was impressed with the skills of Tassian, the producer of \"The Golden Hour. The two hit it off, and the project was produced.
