This is the second release in the "Sony Classical Masterpieces Collection 1000". This is the only recording of the complete unaccompanied works made by the famous violinist Jascha Heifetz in 1952. Heifetz used his extraordinary technique to challenge Bach's series of works, which draw out all the possibilities from a single violin, and gave a dynamic performance with his characteristic brilliant sound. This is a work that shows Bach's image refined by his sharp performance style.
