Gould before his CBS debut, carefully mastered and revived. Beautifully printed in silver, the jacket is also a valuable object!\" A year after the \"Impact of '55,\" Gould was already Gould! The brilliant creation of the young genius, Gould's Goldberg Variations, recorded in 1955, the year after Furtwängler's death in 1954, made a huge impact on the music world. But it did not come out of nowhere, nor did it come from another planet. This is a rare CBC recording of Gould as a young man, vividly brought to life with the latest ALTUS technology. The Goldberg recording made by the CBC in 1954, prior to the \"Sony Old Recordings\" of 1955, is now available in the best possible sound quality. This is an extraordinary performance with a different excitement from the Sony recording that makes full use of editing, even though Gould's unique world has already been created. The arias are full of singing and thrilling variations that draw the listener in. The centripetal force and driving force created by the innovative slow and fast movements thrill the audience from beginning to end. The commentary, which compares the performance with recordings by Turek and others who Gould said were his influences, will help you reevaluate Gould's presence in the history of Bach performance. The jacket design is printed in silver. The colors cannot be reproduced in the image data on the screen, and the album has enough value as an object. This is an album that you should definitely add to your collection.
