The band was formed in Vancouver, British Columbia, Western Canada, led by John Patrick Caldwell (lead vocals). Other members are Charles Faulkner (bass), Hugh Lockhead (drums), Roger Lowe (guitar\/replaced by brother Leslie Lowe on this disc), Don McDougall (guitar, vocals. Signed to London Records in 1968. Their debut single \"Eye\/Funny Feeling\" (1968) was a flop, but later that year they established their own label, Duck (distributed by Capitol), which reissued their first single and released their second single \"One Ring Jane\/Kill the Pig\". In 1969, they made their major label debut with the single \"One Ring Jane\/Funny Feeling\" and the album \"Home Grown Stuff\" on Capitol. This album was produced by Terry Brown, who would later produce a series of hit albums by the popular Canadian hard rock trio Rush.The psychedelic rock with a country flavor, including vocal harmonies and gentle improvisations that revolve around guitar solos, has the feel of 60's Bay Area psychedelic rock in the vein of the Grateful Dead and Moby Grape. After the breakup, McDougall joined the Guess Who.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Vivid Sound","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":50832690184481,"sku":"4540399050874","price":2750.0,"currency_code":"JPY","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0568\/8482\/2076\/files\/4540399050874.jpg?v=1742718321","url":"https:\/\/cdsvinyljapan.com\/products\/4540399050874","provider":"CDs Vinyl Japan Store","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
