The delicate music woven from her fingertips brings the elegance of the French Baroque to life in the present day.\n\n\u003cakiko sakikawa\u003e\nGraduated from the Piano Department of Toho Gakuen School of Music. She studied piano under the late Motonari Iguchi, Masako Kanematsu, and Jean-Claude Vanden Eyden, and conducting and accompaniment under the late Hideo Saito. After experiencing a live performance by Leonhardt in Belgium, she discovered the harpsichord and studied under Charles König and Junsei Watanabe.\nAt the Paris Conservatoire de Musique Ancienne, she studied harpsichord with Noël Spies and fortepiano with Patrick Cohen. She has performed with numerous international artists and is active in a wide range of genres, including chamber music, concertos, and solo recitals. She is the organizer of the “Fountain of Music Series.” She has released the solo CDs *The Charm of the Clavichord*, *Mozart: Light and Shadow*, *Masakazu Uehata: Dreaming Wings*, and *Music Book for Anna Magdalena Bach* (selected as a “Record Geijutsu” Special Selection).
