The album "Walk On Water" released in 1995 by UFO, a British hard rock band formed in the late 60's and still very popular all over the world, will be reissued in Japan for the first time in 29 years, since its original release in 1995. This reissue features a different cover from the original, and the album has been remastered to the latest SHM-CD format. The album is a much talked-about reunion of the band's golden era lineup, which featured the return of "God" Michael Schenker, a guitar hero with a huge following in Japan, for the first time in over 15 years after he left the band in the late 1970s.Furthermore, this album features Ron Nevison, who produced their masterpieces "Lights Out", "Obsession", and "Strangers in the Night". One of the highlights of this album is that it recreates the simple, yet solid and tight British sound of yesteryear. The songs on this album with the addition of Michael have a dark and mysterious atmosphere, but the weepy melodies are still there, and the UFO sound of yesteryear is something that will make fans groan.The album also ends with newly recorded (at the time) versions of two of their best-known songs, "Doctor Doctor '95" and "Lights Out '95," as a welcome gift from the band to fans who have been waiting for the reunion for many years.
