Later, after hearing the young Psihoda perform in Turin, the renowned conductor Toscanini praised him, saying, “Not even Paganini could play like this,” catapulting him overnight into the spotlight as the darling of his era. Active from the SP era through the LP era, he continued to captivate countless fans with his virtuosic technique.\nThis collection features recordings from the peak of his career. In particular, the first two pieces showcase dazzlingly precise and fluid playing; their continuous succession of mesmerizing techniques draws the listener into a world of wonder and excitement.\n\nFor the SP record playback tracks, we’ve captured the sound from the legendary Victrola (Credenza) player.
