LITE, celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2023, will release its 7th album "STRATA" on CD and LP, which reaches a new level by incorporating singing, rapping, and more! The ever-evolving instrumental rock band LITE will release its seventh full-length album "STRATA" on January 31, the first in four and a half years, at the conclusion of its 20th anniversary year. The album will be released on CD and LP. This album was recorded and mixed by member Kusumoto Structure (Gt./Syth), who also handled the recording and mixing of all the songs. They have been making unique attempts such as releasing "STRATA (Preview)" last November, which is a trailer for the album. The album in this context features a number of new tracks, from the disco-punk style "Deep Inside" with frontman Takeda's impressive vocals, to "Thread" with its aggressive sound that challenges Japanese rap, and lastly, the dark, new wave approach of "Left Unsaid," and others.The physical release also includes a new song, "Sosue," a human-powered jungle song that hits 190 BPM, the fastest BPM in LITE's history, for a total of 10 tracks. We hope you will experience the "music" that LITE is building up as they enter a new phase, while looking back on their 20 years of history.
