Kazuki Tomokawa, a solitary folk singer, re-released album [Sea Silent, Soul Sick] from King Records in 1981 in W paper jacket! Pip Electric Band participated in the recording! This album is one of Kazuki Tomokawa's masterpieces of the 80's together with [Sakura no Kuni no Suteru Nakanaka] (1980)! In terms of presence, there is no one better than Kazuki Tomokawa. He sings of blackened loneliness as if he were throwing himself off a towering cliff. The listener has no choice but to surrender to the screams pouring down from the top of his head. He is also an incredibly dangerous singer, and because of his danger, he is rarely heard on the radio.If one were to venture to name a singer comparable to Kazuki Tomokawa, one would have to look no further than Hiroshi Mikami. Since both debuted in the 1970s, they are often placed in the context of folk singers, but of course, there is no way they can fit into any conventional container.
