With all tracks flowing seamlessly into one another, the album is structured to tell a single, cohesive story.\nThe cover art and new artist visuals are original illustrations by manga artist George Asakura, whom Hasegawa deeply admires. Using the motif of Hasegawa cooking okonomiyaki, the artwork depicts a new image of Hasegawa Hakushi imbued with an air of everyday life.\nAdditionally, Naoki Takehisa, who handled the artist visual photography for the previous release, continues to serve as art director, with Moe Yoshino handling the design.\nFurthermore, the first single from the new album, “Lord of Honey,” is now available for digital download. This track features a live performance by “Haha to Hairpins,” a group of distinctive musicians, and while it is based on a simple band sound—which is rare for Hasegawa Hakushi—it is an emotional track that defies easy categorization, interwoven throughout with Hasegawa’s signature approach.\nThe track was mixed by Jeff Swan, who has worked with Ed Sheeran and Charli XCX, resulting in a dynamic and energetic sound.\nThe domestic CD and the LP edition with a Japanese obi strip include approximately 6,000-character original self-written liner notes by Hasegawa Hakushi himself.\n\nComment from George Asakura:\nWow, I feel like something’s about to awaken.
