However, this work is not merely an extension of their playful spirit; rather, it is an album that casts an even stronger gaze upon contemporary society than ever before.\n\nWhile addressing themes such as online fatigue, chronic depression, political turmoil, and environmental issues, the album still respects the power of luck and calls for mutual tolerance in these chaotic times.\n\nPart of the title was inspired by Psychedelic Studies (MAPS), and “BetheBridge” explores the themes of seeking help and offering it. “LikeaMothtoaFlame” questions the human tendency to be drawn to the light even while understanding the potential for destruction. The title track, “A?ofWHEN,” humorously depicts the inevitable “moment of reckoning” that will eventually arrive.
