This album is a collection of unreleased tracks by NECHAZZ, a group formed by Palestinian-Jordanian musicians Basim Saeed and Kardoon Nasser, along with Iraqi singer\/guitarist Qasim Sabounchi. Although known for their live performances at the prestigious local club “Rumours,” the songs they produced remained buried over the years without ever being officially released. Discovered on cassette tapes reportedly kept by their families, these recordings can truly be called a miraculous rediscovery.\n\nWhile showing influences from sophisticated ’80s pop acts like Bobby Caldwell, Steely Dan, Michael Franks, George Michael, Tears for Fears, Level 42, and Stevie Wonder, yet their unique personality—which goes beyond mere imitation—shines through, as smooth R\u0026amp;B, jazz, and sophisticated pop, and on tracks like “LoveMeetingLove” and “OverYou,” you can fully appreciate the beautiful harmonies, synth sounds, and solid musicianship.
