She also won the Ettlingen International Youth Piano Competition (2004) and the Clara Haskil International Piano Competition (2005). She has performed with world-class orchestras such as the London Symphony Orchestra, the Concertgebouw Orchestra, and the NHK Symphony Orchestra, and made her debut at the BBC Proms in 2014.\nHis discography includes two releases on Deutsche Grammophon featuring Beethoven and Chin Un-suk’s piano concertos, conducted by Myung-whun Chung. Subsequently, ACCENTUS MUSIC released Beethoven’s “Waldstein” and “Hammerklavier” (ACC303551CD), Franck’s “Prelude, Chorale, and Fugue” and Brahms’s “Piano Sonata No. 3” (ACC-303552CD), and Beethoven’s three great piano sonatas “Pathétique,” “Moonlight,” and “Appassionata” (ACC-30409CD), and Brahms’ Piano Concerto No. 1 (ACC-30501CD), performed by the Staatskapelle Dresden under the baton of Myung-whun Chung. Following the release of these four albums, the artist has now recorded this fifth album, a collection of Beethoven’s three great late piano sonatas.\nThe recording took place at the Kunstkraftwerk, an art center recently opened on the site of a former power plant.
