The long-awaited new album, THE DREAM, is an album about intrigue, beauty, and humanity, in which stories about Hollywood and Chateau Marmont, tales of real crimes, and even personal moments of the band members rub shoulders. Not only are beauty and darkness side by side throughout the piece, but they are sometimes mixed together in the same song. The band's eye-popping performances have gained maturity and showcase artistic precision while still displaying bold moments at times. The album was produced after a hiatus from the extensive world touring of their last album, RELAXER, and the sound reflects the band's growth as songwriters and storytellers.
