Description:

Venezuelan Salsa's hidden treasure is being reissued by EL PALMAS for the first time in the world! Federico Betancourt's 1966 album "Llego la salsa", one of the great pioneers of Venezuelan salsa, was a memorable album that marked the beginning of the Venezuelan salsa movement. The first song on the album, "Cocolia," was sung by Dimas Pedroza, who until then had made his living as a shoeshine boy. Dimas later rose to lead the group Federico y su Combo and emerged as a prominent figure in the Venezuelan salsa scene. . ." is a collaboration with an orchestra composed of a group of musicians. The record did not receive much attention at the time, but now, with its reappraisal, it has become one of the rarest items of Venezuelan salsa. This reissue is a true delight for salsa fans!
