Following Rosenstock’s debut Wagner recording, *Tristan und Isolde* (WLCD0344)—which garnered critical acclaim after he stepped in as a last-minute replacement for the ailing Karl Böhm at the Met—comes this new release from the WALHALL label: *Elektra*. Featuring a powerful cast—including Inge Borg, who has left behind many acclaimed recordings in the role of Electra—this album showcases Rosenstock’s sharp, tense, and electrifying performance.\nThe sound quality is excellent for a monaural live recording.
