It is a masterpiece characterized by the thick, intertwining sounds and raw, intense emotions typical of Robert Schumann. Meanwhile, the *Humoresque* is a piano piece that has been taken up by many performers in recent years—a large-scale work with a playing time of just under 30 minutes. It is dedicated to Mrs. J. v. Webenau. Jimin Oh-Havenit’s emotionally charged performance is simply breathtaking.\n\nAfter graduating from Seoul National University, Oh-Havenit honed her skills at the Cologne University of Music and Dance and is currently active in Germany. Her discography includes a collection of piano works by Ulrich Reindecker, recorded in the 1990s with her future husband, Raymond Havenit.
