The Prague Spring Music Festival, a traditional Czech tradition that has continued since 1946, will open with a performance of \"Our Fatherland\" on May 12, the anniversary of Smetana's death. Known as the festival that opens with a performance of \"My Homeland\" on May 12, the anniversary of Smetana's death, it has been held annually for many years. This CD contains the long-awaited opening concert of the festival. This year's performance was the first time since Norrington \u0026amp; the London Classical Players (1996) that the Lux \u0026amp; Collegium 1704 performed old music. The performance of \"My Homeland\" is a must-see ancient music performance. Above all, they are Czech musicians. The sympathy for Smetana's music is outstanding, and you can feel the exceptional care they put into their performance from every note.
