Welser-Möst, born in Linz, Austria in 1960, is a Bruckner specialist, and has already released soft recordings of No. 5, No. 8, and No. 9. The live recording of No. 7 was Welser-Möst's first Bruckner recording, made at the Proms in August 1991 with the London Philharmonic Orchestra, of which he has been music director since the following September, followed by a September 2008 recording with the Cleveland Orchestra, of which he has been music director since 2002. In September 2008, he released a live video recording of a concert at Severance Hall, where he had conducted the Cleveland Orchestra, a group for which he has been music director since 2002.So far, all of Welser-Möst's Bruckner No. 7 albums have been live performances, but as in the case of Welser-Möst's own No. 5, the later the recording, the slower and longer the overall playing time, with a gap of almost 20 years. The later recordings tend to be slower and longer in overall duration. Werther-Möst and the Mahler-Jugendorchester had a good relationship in the live recording of No. 8 at the Musikverein Hall in Vienna in 2002, where their youthful sensibilities clashed wildly and yet they presented the entire work in a solid manner, and as a result they showed a good chemistry. The same chemistry was evident in the live recording of the two musicians performing at the Musikverein Hall, where their youthful sensibilities clashed wildly, but they also put together a solid performance of all the songs.Bruckner No.7 conducted by Welser-Möst [comparison of track times]Mahler-Jugend Orchestra (1989 live) 17'47 + 19'04 + 8'26 + 10'44 = 56'01(actual measured value)London Philharmonic Orchestra (1991 live) 19'48 + 20'24 + 8'58 + 11'37 = 60 '48 Cleveland Orchestra (live in 2008) 19'29 + 21'36 + 9'21 + 13'05 = 63'31 King International

Tracklisting:

1.Symphony No. 7 in E-Dur: Allegro moderato
2.Symphony No. 7 in E-Dur: Adagio.
