For Mozart, the clarinet must certainly have been a very special instrument.\nThe piece you can hear here is, believe it or not, the “Clarinet Quintet in C minor.” Mozart composed the Wind Serenade in C minor (K. 388) in 1782 and arranged it for string quintet in 1788 (K. 406), this Clarinet Quintet in B-flat minor was arranged by a man named Vincent Gambaro [1746–1810].
