Organ music full of splendor under the reign of Louis XIV, recognized by the great Bach André Raison (before 1650-1719) was a French Baroque composer. He contributed to the rise of French organ music. It is well known that Bach used the passacaglia theme from Raison's organ music in his masterpiece "Passacaglia and Fugue". Here, the last brightness of the reign of Louis XIV, tormented by war and famine, and a prayer for peace are depicted. 15 organ pieces were chosen to form a dialogue according to the collection of carols published by Ballard in 1703. The colorful sounds of the Auch Cathedral organ are an attraction. King International
