This album features works by Lili Boulanger [1893–1918], the sister of Nadia Boulanger, as well as Jacques de la Prière [1888–1969], who taught harmony to Akio Yashiro during his studies at the Paris Conservatory.\nPianist Pascal Jourdain is a prodigious talent who studied under Haideschek, Roger Mularo, and others. Having performed with Dustrac for over 20 years, he provides superb piano accompaniment on this disc, never missing even the slightest change in her breathing or tone.
