The majority of this 70-minute-plus album was reportedly produced and recorded in his home studio. It features the grandiose sound design seen in his 2009 solo album *Central Market*, the experimental spirit of *Hive1*, which made full use of modular synths, and above all, the minimal yet physically charged repetitive grooves that have been a constant since his Battles days—all of these elements have crystallized into an unprecedented masterpiece spanning over 70 minutes.\nFurthermore, the sound—where countless raw rhythms seem to veer off the massive dance floor of club music—updates the \"mechanical yet strangely danceable\" sensation of his Battles era into a contemporary electronic soundscape, revealing multi-layered influences ranging from IDM mavericks like Aphex Twin and Outtek to contemporary immersive sound artists such as Mika Levi and Laurel Halo.\nWhile remaining compatible with club sound systems, his work possesses the spatial quality of an art installation and the intellectual depth of a contemporary composer, yet remains intuitive and physical. This sound, where mathematically constructed repetition coexists with human fluctuation, is the very unique realm that Tyondai has established within the experimental and electronic music scenes.\n\nMy perspective on releasing music—and the very meaning of “being an artist”—has changed significantly. What’s important in an artist’s work is to document what you’re doing, what excites you, what you’re confronting, and what you’re rebelling against—to preserve these things as a record of your life. Right now, in an era of war and media overload, everyone is facing a sense of powerlessness as they look out at the world. In the midst of this, what is the role of an artist? I believe that archiving the creative ideas of the moment is one of the most important things an artist can do in this day and age. I used to think things like, “This song is really important to me,” or “I want you to hear how this chord came about” were what mattered. But in reality, the importance of those things might be much smaller.\n-Tyondai Braxton\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Erased Tapes","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":52810440966433,"sku":"3700551787005","price":6921.0,"currency_code":"JPY","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0568\/8482\/2076\/files\/3700551787005.jpg?v=1780924792","url":"https:\/\/cdsvinyljapan.com\/products\/3700551787005","provider":"CDs Vinyl Japan Store","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
