The first movement of *Sarnia*, “Le Catioroc,” is the ancient Roman name for Guernsey, one of the Channel Islands. *Decorations* is also a work influenced by Debussy’s *Preludes*. It begins with “The Island’s Spell” and concludes with a mystical twilight (crimson) ritual. The opening of the second movement features a quotation from Victor Hugo’s *Les Travailleurs de la Mer*. *The Sea*, composed in various locations such as Normandy, Jersey, and Eastbourne (England), resonates across time and place.\nAline Pibul won five prizes at the 2014 Orléans International Competition. Renowned for her virtuosity and her ability to craft recital programs as if weaving a novel, she is a highly regarded figure at music festivals around the world.\nHARMONIAMUNDI\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Harmonia Mundi","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":52490343612705,"sku":"3149020956212","price":4890.0,"currency_code":"JPY","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0568\/8482\/2076\/files\/3149020956212.jpg?v=1774486314","url":"https:\/\/cdsvinyljapan.com\/products\/3149020956212","provider":"CDs Vinyl Japan Store","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
