With her flexible music, she has released a number of fascinating CDs with her ensemble \"Re-Inconvenience,\" and now she has established a new ensemble. It is called the Kitgut Quartet (meaning 'gut-string' quartet). With a motto of freedom, enthusiasm and sharing, the first disc of this quartet focuses on Haydn and England (Purcell, Locke and Blow), and brings together some of the gems of the string quartet in the rough. Although there is a 100-year gap in time between Purcell's Fantasia and the string quartets written by Haydn in his 60s, it is surprising that the Purcell works are so rich that if you were told they were written at the same time, you might be right.The performance itself is not only wonderful, but a musical journey full of delightful discoveries will unfold! ＜The Kitgut Quartet was founded by Beyer in 2015 and is composed of members who play gut-string period instruments. The quartet began as a project to explore pre-classical string quartet forms. Members include Beyer on violin and Naaman Sultin, a former member of the Diotima String Quartet. The viola is played by Joseph Kotte, who is also a member of Pygmalion and Ensemble Correspondances, and the cello by Frederic Baldassarre, who won first prize for modern cello at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris (and is also active in modern ensembles).
