The prelude consists of the motives \"Cross\" and \"Sigh,\" followed by the five-part first movement with a baritone solo, and the final chorale with a chorus at the end, all of which showcase Bach's creativity and fullness of writing. Cantata No. 82, also about a peaceful death, is another widely loved masterpiece, along with No. 56, in which the oboe plays an important role.The Oboe d'amore concerto is thought to be the original harpsichord concerto No. 4.
