The duo of these two rare talents is full of playfulness while maintaining intellectual restraint in the marches. In the Fantasie, the power of the sound of the fortepiano pedal is astonishing, as is the excellent playing.The Rondo, the last recorded work from his last years, is full of tenderness and sparkle.
