The album features orchestral arrangements of tracks from Gudnadóttir’s first three albums, along with two new compositions making their world premiere. She is joined by conductor Robert Ames and the Berlin German Symphony Orchestra. The album cover artwork was created by the internationally acclaimed Icelandic-Danish artist Olafur Eliasson. The liner notes were written by Gudnadottir herself and Canadian film director Sarah Polley.\n\nHildur Guðnadóttir also composes music for films and television dramas and has won numerous awards, including Oscars, Grammys, Golden Globes, BAFTA Film Awards, and Emmys.\n\n“While I was recording, trying to become a one-person string orchestra, I always dreamed of playing with more people.
