Traveling from Cuba and the Dominican Republic to Brazil, Peru, and Argentina, he performs both solo and orchestral works. In every sense, this is his most personal album to date. In addition to works by composers such as “Brumba” Landestei, Villa-Lobos, Camilo, Ginastera, and Barroso, the album features original compositions and traditional pieces from the South American repertoire.
