Produced primarily by Vile himself, with contributions from Langellotti, keyboard virtuoso Matthew Jugenheimer, drummer Kyle Spence, guitarist Jesse Trbovrich, and longtime Violators engineer Rob Schnapf—this album marks Weil’s return to his home-recording roots while simultaneously establishing his own unique style as a producer. Using tools honed through years of use, he packed the album with an overflowing warmth. “I’ve been waiting for those natural elements to reappear in my recordings, just like in the old home-recording days,” he says. “I think I’ve finally captured that again. Though the sound quality is better than before.
