He re-learned the fundamentals of composition, rebuilding harmony, counterpoint, and orchestration from the ground up to write the score. With the expert support of Joseph Stevenson, this meticulously constructed work gives every instrument and voice its own “place to speak.”\n\nRecording took place across more than 10 countries, featuring the North Netherlands Orchestra and Chorus, as well as close collaborators Darby Todd, Mike Kennerly, James Leach, and Steve Vai, Aneke van Garsbergen, and Lynn Ou.
