Upon Stone is a four-piece formed in Southern California in 2021. The band consists of Ronny, formerly of STATIUS, and Xabier, who is also a member of Wyatt and HANDS OF GOD. Their debut album, "Dead Mother Moon," is a must-listen in 2024. The lyrical and weepy melodies of (2) "Onyx Through the Heart," released in July 2023, and the latter half of (8) "The Lantern" will grab the ears of many Scandinavian melodeath fans. The band's unexpected roots can be heard in the excellent cover of MISFITS' (9) "Dig Up Her Bones," which is included at the end of the album. This album is produced and mixed by Taylor Young, who has also shown his talent in the work of SUICIDE SILENCE, KRUELTY, DRAIN, etc. Following the recording and mixing of the EP "Where Wild Sorrows Grow" in 2021 The band's sound is top-notch, with full cooperation. <upon stone>Xavier - Vocals and BassGage - GuitarsRonny - GuitarWyatt - Drums</upon>

Tracklisting:

1.Dead Mother Moon
2.Onyx Through the Heart
3.My Destiny; a Weapon
4.Dusk Sang Fairest
5.Paradise Failed (feat.
