For this edition, Kevin Van Bergen—who has remastered many key works for 4AD—has remastered all tracks from the original analog tapes. The result is a remarkably fresh soundscape, marking the culmination of his remastering work on the Pixies’ catalog. Designer Chris Bigg (v23) created new artwork using previously unused photographs from Simon Larbalestier’s archive that were originally taken for the Pixies.
