Even before his debut with 2CELLOS, Hauser was already making a name for himself as a promising young musician. In 2010, he happened to reunite with Luka Sulic in London, and in January 2011, they posted a video of themselves performing “Smooth Criminal” on two cellos—an event that led to their debut as 2CELLOS. Having honed his artistic range while touring the world, Hauser’s rich, colorful cello sound is fully captured in this album, where he performs the “classical” music that has inspired him from his roots.\n\n\u003chauser\u003e\nBorn in Croatia on June 15, 1986. He began studying the cello at age 8, moved to London to study, and later honed his skills at the Royal Northern College of Music. As one of the last students of the legendary Mstislav Rostropovich, Hauser has won 21 competitions and is a highly acclaimed young cellist who has performed before Prince Charles. In 2010, he reunited with Luka Surić in London.
