In 2014, Kaufmann also released "You Are My Heart's Content," a collection of arias and popular songs popular in early 20th century Germany, and this album is a Viennese version and sequel to that album. With the exception of the New Year's Concert and "Die Fledermaus," the Vienna Philharmonic has never performed Johann Strauss or operettas in their repertoire, but they have been chosen for this album, and their brilliant Viennese sound is everywhere. The duets also feature Rachel Willis-Sorensen, who will play the role of Mulgrito in "Faust" in the Royal Opera's Japan tour in September 2019, with beautiful lyricism and graceful phrasing.
