From Finland. Pantheon Of The Nightside Gods", the new release from BELZEBUBS, a unique black metal band that jumped out of the web comics. BELZEBUBS is a unique band born out of a comic drawn by JP Ahonen. The members are Hubbath (Vocals, Bass), Obesyx (Lead Guitars), Sloth (Guitars, Vocals), and a new member, Samael (Drums), making up this black metal band. (Formed in 2002, BELZEBUBS released their debut album "Quis Novit Daemonis Astus" (2006), which was independently released but gained a cult following, and their second album "Moth of Satanas" (2009), but a series of unfortunate events forced the band into a 10-year hiatus. Then, in April 2019, after a member change and a three-record deal with Century Media Records, BELZEBUBS released their long-awaited new album. The music video for the single "Blackened Call," released in June 2018 prior to the album's release, fully exploits the comic book world in which the members appear.The album has received well over a million views on YouTube, indicating the high expectations for the album. The songs on "Pantheon Of The Nightside Gods" are a selection of 11 songs from old demos and many of the songs they have left behind, recorded at HellholeStudios in Stockholm. Engineered and mastered by master Dan Swano (Edge ofSanity). Our sound is moving away from black death metal and closer to a progressive, symphonic dimension," says Sloth. As Sloth explains, BELZEBUBS' sound is not uniform black metal. With cinematic and thrilling development, this album is sure to appeal to fans of Scandinavian melodic death metal as well.
