The Snuts

Description:

The Snuts are a four-piece band from Whitburn, Scotland, who are steadily expanding their fan base throughout the UK. Their highly anticipated debut full-length album, "W.L.", is finally released! THE SNUTS are a four-piece band from Whitburn, Scotland, who have been steadily expanding their fan base across the UK since around 2019. Following the release of their EP "Mixtape", which reached the top 20 in the UK and #1 in their native Scotland last year, their highly anticipated debut full-length album, "W.L.", is now available. Jack Cochrane (Vo), Jordon McKay (Dr), Joe McGillveray (G) and Callum Wilson (B) met in junior high school and "there was no one else who could play an instrument", so they inevitably formed the band. Influenced by the Arctic Monkeys and the Libertines, the band members worked at their respective jobs while refining their own indie rock sound. They describe their goal as "being a band from Scotland, we want to break out of Scotland, leave our mark on the scene, and achieve something different from other bands," and according to vocalist Jack, "Lewis Capaldi and Gerry Cinnamon have The bar was raised to get a break" and they were practicing seven days a week. They began releasing singles around 2016, and in 2017, they released their self-produced, four-song THE MATADOR EP. The following year, they performed on the King Tut's stage at the TRNSMT festival in their hometown of Scotland to the delight of a 20,000-strong crowd. Word of her performance spread by word of mouth, and in 2018, she was handed a contract with Parlophone. Then last year, he released his second EP, MIXTAPE, recorded in Los Angeles with Inflo, who worked with Karen O/Danger Mouse and Michael Kiwanuka, and Tony Hoffer, known for his work with Beck and Phoenix, as producers. From there, "Fatboy Slim" became a hit, and live anthems such as "All Your Friends," "Don't Forget it (Punk)," and "Juan Belamonte" were born, and the band quickly gained attention as a promising newcomer. The band's live performance is also well documented, with their fall tour in 2019 selling out every show! However, they were forced to revise their plans due to the spread of the new coronavirus. In December, they announced that they would release their debut full-length album in the spring of 2021. (1/2)
