Megumi Yonezawa, a pianist who has appeared on numerous stages including the Village Vanguard, Carnegie Hall, and the North Sea Jazz Festival, has released a new album on the Sunnyside label. Her diverse repertoire of melodic originals, standard numbers, and complete improvisations convey the essence of contemporary jazz piano.
