Alyssa Firsova (b.1986) is a composer/pianist of the new generation born in Russia and active in the UK. As a composer, she has already published over 50 works, which have been premiered three times at the BBC Proms and attracted a great deal of attention in the UK and Europe. As a pianist, he made his Wigmore Hall and BBC Proms debut in 2009 and released his first album "Russian Exiles" (VIVAT109) on the Vivat label in 2015. In recent years, he has further expanded his activities, including an appearance as conductor of the Camerata RCO at the Festival de la Conque in France. What can be heard on this record is Firsova as a pianist. This is a live recording from 2018, when she appeared in the Amsterdam Piano Series, a recital series at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam.
