Noelia Rodiles is a female pianist who caused a sensation in Spain when she won the first prize and three special awards at the Albacete International Piano Competition. On this album, she combines the "Musikfest," composed the year before Schubert's premature death and belonging to the most beloved of Schubert's piano works, with the first recording of a sonata by Martín Sánchez-Arreu, a 19th century Spanish composer who was firmly established in the Madrid music scene at the time.
