The deluxe analog edition of the genius multi-instrumentalist FKJ's 2020 EP "Ylang Ylang" is now available! FKJ is the solo project of French producer, singer, and multi-instrumentalist Vincent Fenton, whose debut album "French Kiwi Juice" quickly caught the attention of music fans and led to sold-out shows in Japan, a 2018 In 2018, he performed at TAICOCLUB, and in 2019, he will perform at Summer Sonic and his music has been used in an Apple commercial. The sound of this album shows the influence of the production environment as well, and although it uses a beat that is typed in, the organic and pleasant melody stands out.The album includes "Risk" by Bas, a Paris, France-born, Queens, New York-based rapper who releases on J. Cole's Dreamville label, and the title track "Ylang Ylang" by Philippines-based ((( O ))). ((( O )))), who is based in the Philippines. "Ylang" is the name of a place I spent a few months in the Philippine jungle. I wanted it to be conceptual, like a film documenting that place and time. Last year I spent 6 months setting up a studio in a very remote tropical area. Almost no one lived there and there was no electricity. We only used a generator at night to make music. It was the most beautiful scenery, mountains, beaches. It was one of my favorite places in the world. It was a dream come true to make music there. - FKJ
