Voice of Steely Dan, Donald Fagen's fourth album in six and a half years. Following the Nightfly Trilogy ("Nightfly," "KAMAKIRIAD," and "Morph the Cat"), the nine songs on the album were co-produced by Michael Leonhardt and Donald. All of the nine songs on the album were co-produced by Michael Leonhardt and Donald, with the exception of the cover of Isaac Hayes' "Out of the Ghetto. Jon Herrington, The Steely Dan Horns, and Freddie Washington of the Steely Dan Family also participate as musicians.
