Released in 1972 Boz Scaggs produced all the songs on this fourth album "My Time" in 1972, which is a song about his longing for soul music. Boz produced all the songs on this fourth album, and his longing for black music was clearly expressed. The recording was done in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, and the inclusion of songs by Al Green and Alan Toussaint, as well as his own compositions, shows that Boz has an extraordinary interest in R&B music. This is Boz's debut album in Japan.
