He has released a collection of Gabrieli's works on the Pentatone label, and this is another new recording by the Sauer organ of Berlin Cathedral, where he is the organist. As the album title "Berlin! as the album title suggests, is a collection of organ music by composers with ties to the region. The magnificent sound of the Sauer organ, with its 113 stops and four keyboards, is reproduced on SACD in a realistic 2+2+2 recording that only MDG can provide.
