Andreas Heflinger studied with Herbert Stessin at the Juilliard School and made his New York debut in 1988 with great success, and later made guest appearances with major orchestras in Europe and the United States, gave solo recitals, and accompanied world-class singers such as Matthias Goerne in lieder. He has also performed with world-class singers such as Matthias Goerne. Armand's remarkable piano concerto (Grand Toccata), dedicated to Hefliger and combining kaleidoscopic shifting colors and superb technique, premiered at the 2019 BBC Proms and has since been performed in Boston, Munich, and Helsinki.This disc contains shows from November 6 and 7, 2019 in Helsinki.
