As with his previous releases, Juan handled everything from performance to recording, mixing, and mastering—all handled solely by Juan. Additionally, for the final track, \"Fuente,\" the project undertook a first-time experiment by recording with a full band lineup featuring longtime musical collaborators Luis Eusse (b) and Ricardo Santiago (g), who regularly support him during live performances. Consistent with his approach since his debut, Juan deconstructs and reconstructing the Canterbury music, symphonic rock, Zeuhl, and psychedelia he holds in such high regard—a style commonly referred to as “Neo-Canterbury”—this album further expands the possibilities of a sound that feels both innovative and nostalgic.
