The work’s origins date back to 2020, when it was commissioned by the Belgian guitar quartet ZWERM; it is structured around four guitars sustaining microtonal harmonies. For over 20 years, O’Malley and Violette have pursued an artistic practice that spans sound, space, and sculpture.
