The title tune, \"Crisis,\" is a Hubbard original from Freddie Hubbard's 1962 Blue Note release Ready For Freddie.Lewis came to NY in 1956, but Hubbard came to NY two years later in 1958 and they hit it off and lived in an apartment in the same building in Brooklyn for a few years. There are also plenty of other Jazzmen originals and Lee Morgan's \"Desert Moonlight\" to listen to. The steady playing of Abraham Burton and Steve Nelson shines throughout. The drum playing is brilliant on all songs.
