Their relationship, which began through music, eventually developed into a deep, family-like bond. Recorded on portable equipment, this work naturally captures Maria Teresa’s daily life, the ambient sounds of the island, and the changing of the seasons. Maria Teresa sings “cantosachiterra”—traditional Sardinian songs passed down orally—accompanied by Vieri’s minimalist guitar and organ playing. Now 84 years old, her voice combines suppleness with the nuances of time, lending new meaning to these ancient songs. A work filled with profound beauty and hope, quietly encapsulating the memories of the land and its people.

Tracklisting:

.Sas Rundinas
.Rundines Chi 'Olades
.Innozzente Rundinella
.Imbasciada
.Sa Rundine Passizzera
.Margaretina Dopia
.Una Boci Una Chitarra
.Lu Pintimentu
.Benvinuta Bona Gjenti
.Passu
